Inspired in the 1920s that football became a mass phenomenon in the city, and FC Barcelona attracted a good part of that attention with legendary players like Samitier, Alcántara, Zamora and Sancho, who became Barça’s first local heroes.

Only for Culers refers to the name by which Barҫa fans are popularly known. The term ‘Culer’ dates back to 1909 to 1922 when fans used to sit on the grandstand and passers-by on the street below could only see a row of bums (‘culs’ in Catalan) sitting along the top of the wall. The name ‘Culers’ gained popularity in the early seventies and today is stronger than ever.
